Art 1,2 provides a design and skill foundation for students that

includes drawing, painting and design problems. Media and

methods are explored to facilitate future progress in additional

art courses.

NO PREREQUISITES

Design in Mixed Media introduces students to the elements

and principles of design as a foundation for understanding

and creating fine art. Students produce two and threedimensional

design artwork in various media.

NO PREREQUISITES

Color & Design is a course for students displaying skills and interest in art

who wish to try a more advanced art course. The emphasis is

on design elements and principles and mastery work in color

mixing and its application. Composition is also stressed.

Students will have the opportunity to apply their skills to

commercial design problems.

This course requires completion of Art 1,2 or Design in Mixed Media. ( A “C” or better must be earned in the course.)
